Токийская фондовая биржа
Крупнейшая и наиболее важная из восьми фондовых бирж Японии биржа, на долю которой приходится около 85 % оборота японских ценных бумаг. В первую секцию входят 1200 крупнейших выпусков на рынке. Около 70 % компаний, ценные бумаги которых котируются по первой секции, включены также в котировочные листы фондовых бирж Осаки и Нагой. Во вторую секцию входят ценные бумаги приблизительно 400 эмитентов; условия включения в котировочный лист второй секции менее жесткие и схожи с условиями рынка некотируемых ценных бумаг (enlisted-securities market) в Великобритании. Иностранные акции котируются по третьей секции. При Токийской фондовой бирже имеется также внебиржевой рынок акций (over-the-counter market), зарегистрированных Ассоциацией японских дилеров по ценным бумагам. В конце 1991 г. на внебиржевом рынке ценных бумаг начала функционировать автоматизированная система заключения сделок. Членами Токийской фондовой биржи являются постоянные участники, выступающие в сделках с ценными бумагами в роли принципалов, или агенты (“сайтори”), которым разрешается выступать только в качестве посредников между постоянными членами. Торги в настоящее время в основном автоматизированы и происходят через компьютеризированную систему принятия и исполнения приказов “KOPEC” (CORES), хотя до сих пор торговля приблизительно 150 видами ценных бумаг первой секции ведется в операционном зале методом свободного биржевого торга (ореп outcry). Основным показателем фондового рынка является индекс Никкей (Nikkei Stock Average), рассчитываемый на основе курсов ценных бумаг 225 японских промышленных компаний.
